André Ferraz Sitônio de Assis

Actor, Performer, Director, Journalist, Researcher and Professor of Performing Arts, with research in physical action, staging, comedy, collective scenic processes, theater for children, action analysis and shows in alternative spaces. He is a Doctor of Arts, Scene Arts Line (UFMG, 2017) and Master of Arts, Scenic Arts Line (UFMG, 2011); Specialist in Art Education (PUC Minas, 2011); Degree in Theater (UFMG, 2007) and Bachelor in Social Communication with Qualification in Journalism (UFPE, 2002). He took the Actor Training Course (FUNDAJ / PE, 1999), Oficinão do Galpão Cine Horto (Grupo Galpão, MG, 2004) and workshops with artists and groups such as Augusto Boal (CTO, 2000), Marcelo Athaíde (Dança-Teatro, 2000-2001), LUME Teatro (2004), Doctors of Joy (2007), Tatiana Stepantchenko (Analysis-Action, Russia, 2010), Leo Bassi (Bufonaria, Italy, 2015), among others. He is currently the Advisor of the Artistic Workshops, coordinating the Performing Arts area of ​​the Arts Coordination and Creative Workshops at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (COART / UERJ, 2016-currently). Performing Arts Analyst at the Municipal Culture Foundation (FMC / PBH, 2009-2016); Theater Professor at Centro Cultural UFMG (2007), at the Municipal Education Network (PBH, 2007/2008) and CEFAR / Palácio da Artes (FCS / MG, 2011); Professor of the Post-Graduation in Production and Cultural Criticism (PUC Minas, 2012) and in the Undergraduate Interpretation and Theater Direction (DEART / UFOP, 2013-2015). He was a TV producer at TV Caburaí (Band), in Boa Vista / RR. He participated in the groups "Organização Caça Contos" (MG, 2004-2007), "Malarrumada" (MG, 2004-2006), "Confesso!" (MG, 2008-2011), "Fanfalhaça" (MG, 2011), "Cia É de Palhaços" (MG, 2012), "Coletivo Mondo" (MG, 2012), "Núcleo de Teatro do Espaço Comum Luiz Estrela" (MG, 2014), "Catavento - Músicas & Histórias" (RJ, 2015-2019) and acted in the TV program "Dango Balango", of Rede Minas, giving voices to the dolls "Joduca" and "Charada" (2008-2013). In nov. 2020 made the Direction of Cena (with Sara Marchezini) and acted in the online dance performance "Terrena", by the dancer and performer Renata Mara at the "Tiradentes em Cena" Festival - 2020.

É Doutor em Artes, Linha de Artes da Cena (UFMG, 2017) e Mestre em Artes, Linha de Artes Cênicas (UFMG, 2011); Especialista em Arte-Educação (PUC Minas, 2011); Licenciado em Teatro (UFMG, 2007) e Bacharel em Comunicação Social com Habilitação em Jornalismo (UFPE, 2002). Fez o Curso de Formação de Atores (FUNDAJ/PE, 1999), Oficinão do Galpão Cine Horto (Grupo Galpão, MG, 2004) e oficinas com artistas e grupos como Augusto Boal (CTO, 2000), Marcelo Athaíde (Dança-Teatro, 2000-2001), LUME Teatro (2004), Doutores da Alegria (2007), Tatiana Stepantchenko (Análise-Ação, Rússia, 2010), Leo Bassi (Bufonaria, Itália, 2015), entre outros. Atualmente é Orientador das Oficinas Artísticas, coordenando a área de Artes Cênicas da Coordenadoria de Artes e Oficinas de Criação da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (COART / UERJ, 2016-atualmente). Analista de Artes Cênicas da Fundação Municipal de Cultura (FMC/PBH, 2009-2016); Professor de Teatro do Centro Cultural UFMG (2007), na Rede Municipal de Ensino (PBH, 2007/2008) e CEFAR/Palácio da Artes (FCS/MG, 2011); Professor da Pós-Graduação de Produção e Crítica Cultural (PUC Minas, 2012) e da Graduação de Interpretação e Direção Teatral (DEART/UFOP, 2013-2015). Foi Produtor de TV na TV Caburaí (Band), em Boa Vista/RR. Participou dos grupos "Organização Caça Contos" (MG, 2004-2007), "Malarrumada" (MG, 2004-2006), "Confesso!" Em nov. 2020 fez a Direção de Cena (junto a Sara Marchezini) e atuou na Performance de dança online "Terrena", da bailarina e performer Renata Mara no Festival "Tiradentes em Cena" - 2020.
