Caê Garcia Carvalho

I have a degree in Geography from the Federal University of Bahia (2013), a Master's degree in Geography from the Federal University of Bahia (2016) and a PhD in Geography from the Federal University of Bahia (2021). He is currently a Teacher of Universidade Federal de Roraima and Teacher Trainer at the Federal University of Pampa / Open University of Brazil. He has experience in the area of Geography, with emphasis on Human Sciences, working mainly on the following topics: regional identity, spatial practices, religion, body, ontology, art, phenomenology, psychoanalysis and health. During my master's degree, I developed research on Geography of Religion, making connections between the sacred and the representations and practices of candomblecists and evangelicals. In the doctorate, the research turned to individuals with chronic pain to understand how these agents construct, despite their bodily issues, their place in the world. The research sought to articulate, in the understanding of the proposed issues, phenomenological and psychoanalytical bases working with women affected by rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia.

Possui graduação em Geografia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2013), mestrado em Geografia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2016) e doutorado em Geografia pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (2021). Atualmente é Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal de Roraima, Coordenador do PIBID-Geografia pela referida Universidade e Professor Formador da Universidade Federal do Pampa / Universidade Aberta do Brasil. Tem experiência na área de Geografia, com ênfase em Ciências Humanas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: identidade regional, políticas territoriais, práticas espaciais, religião, corpo, ontologia, arte, fenomenologia, psicanálise e saúde. No mestrado, desenvolveu pesquisas sobre Geografia da Religião, fazendo conexões entre o sagrado e as representações e práticas dos candomblecistas e evangélicos. No doutorado a pesquisa se voltou para indivíduos com dor crônica para compreender como estes agentes constroem, a despeito de suas questões corporais, seu lugar no mundo. A pesquisa procurou articular, no entendimento das questões propostas, as bases fenomenológicas e psicanalíticas trabalhando com mulheres acometidas pela artrite reumatoide e fibromialgia.
