Francilene Brito da Silva

Mulher afrodescendente nordestina, artesã da vida. Doutora em Educação pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Educação da Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2017), na Linha de Pesquisa: Cotidianos, Redes Educativas e Processos Culturais. Mestre em Educação pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (2011) na Linha de Pesquisa: Educação, Movimentos Sociais e Políticas Públicas; Especialista em História da Arte e da Arquitetura pelo Instituto Camillo Filho (2006); Especialista em Teoria do Conhecimento pelo Departamento de Filosofia da UFPI (2004) e Licenciada (Plena) em Educação Artística com Habilitação em Artes Plásticas pela UFPI (2001). Atualmente é Professora da Universidade Federal do Piauí do Departamento de Artes, Centro de Ciências da Educação, e uma das líderes pesquisadora do Núcleo de Estudos e Pesquisas RODA GRIÔ - GEAfro: Gênero, Educação e Afrodescendência (UFPI) e membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Culturas e Identidades no Cotidiano (UERJ). Criou e Estuda o método das Oralimagens: Arte, Educação e Afrodescendência como narrativas decoloniais e cotidianas.

PhD in Education from the Graduate Program in Education at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2017), in the Research Line: Daily Life, Educational Networks and Cultural Processes. Master in Education from the Federal University of Piauí (2011) in the Research Line: Education, Social Movements and Public Policies; Specialist in History of Art and Architecture from Instituto Camillo Filho (2006); Specialist in Theory of Knowledge by the Department of Philosophy at UFPI (2004) and Licensed (Full) in Artistic Education with Qualification in Plastic Arts by UFPI (2001). She is currently a Professor at the Federal University of Piauí at the Department of Arts, Center for Education Sciences, and one of the leading researchers at the Nucleus of Studies and Research RODA GRIÔ - GEAfro: Gender, Education and Afrodescendence (UFPI) and member of the Cultures Research Group and Identities in Daily Life (UERJ). She created and studies the method of Oralimagens: Art, Education and Afro-descendancy as decolonial and everyday narratives.
