Ewerson Duarte da Costa

Ewerson Duarte da Costa was born in Cuiabá-MT. He graduated in Law from the University of Uberaba in 1993. Studied Masters in Public Law from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) in 2002, is a Specialist in Environmental Law and Water Resources at the University Gama Filho in Rio de Janeiro in 2004. Trained as Manager of Environmental Resources by the Ministry of Environment and National Fund for the Environment in 2003. It is also an expert in the Carbon Credit Market CETESB | BM & F training completed in 2005. He was professor at the University of Cuiaba and the University of Lowland Grande, both in Mt. Currently coordinates the foundation of the Catholic University of Mato Grosso - PUC, Member of the Scientific Council of Pro-Natura International where he also holds the position of Director of Institutional International Technical Cooperation with EDCO2 - Duarte da Costa Environmental Consulting & Entrepreneurship EPP , coordinating 21 Environmental Projects in Brazil. He is the author of the thesis' Kyoto Protocol - A Brake on Development Uncontrolled. A Chance for Sustainable Development ', published in 2005 in 27 countries by the Commission of Global Climate Change and Renewed Energies of the UN and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brazil-Germany with support from UNESCO, after being introduced during the Rio5, conference International held in February of 2005 in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Member of the Delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Foreign Ministry - who represented Brazil in the work of the COP 15 in Copenhagen / Dinamarka in December 2009.

Ewerson Duarte da Costa é natural de Cuiabá-MT. Graduou-se em Direito pela Universidade de Uberaba em 1993. Cursou Mestrado em Direito Público pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) em 2002, é Especialista em Direito Ambiental e Recursos Hídricos pela Universidade Gama Filho do Rio de Janeiro em 2004. Capacitou-se como Gestor de Recursos Ambientais pelo Ministério do Meio Ambiente e pelo Fundo Nacional do Meio Ambiente em 2003. É também especialista em Mercado do Crédito de Carbono pela CETESB | BM&F em capacitação concluída no ano de 2005. Foi Professor da Universidade de Cuiabá e da Universidade de Várzea Grande, ambas em MT. Atualmente, coordena a fundação da Universidade Católica do Estado de Mato Grosso - PUC, é Membro do Conselho Científico do Pró-Natura International onde também exerce o cargo de Diretor Institucional da Cooperação Técnica Internacional com a EDCO2 Duarte da Costa Consultoria & Empreendedorismo Ambiental EPP, coordenando 21 Projetos Ambientais no Brasil. É autor da tese Protocolo de Kyoto Um Freio para o Desenvolvimento Descontrolado. Uma Chance para o Desenvolvimento Sustentado , publicada no ano de 2005 em 27 países pela Commission of Global Climate Change and Renewed Energies of ONU e pela Câmara de Comércio e Indústria Brasil/Alemanha com apoio da UNESCO, após ser apresentada durante a Rio5, conferência internacional realizada no mês de fevereiro do ano de 2005 na cidade do Rio de Janeiro. Membro da Delegação do Ministério das Relações Exteriores Itamarati - que representou o Brasil nos trabalhos da COP 15 em Copenhagen/Dinamarka em Dezembro de 2009.
