Doutor em Ciências Sociais/Antropologia/Etnologia brasileira pela PUC-SP (2004). Atualmente é Psicossomatista Junguiano com pós-graduação no Instituto Junguiano de Ensino e Pesquisa (IJEP). É Professor aposentado da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso (UFMT), com mestrado em Educação Pública (UFMT-1997). É graduado em Ciências Sociais (UNESP-1979), História (FIRB - 1982), Pedagogia UNOESTE (1990) e Estudos Sociais - licenc. curta (UNOESTE (1976). É professor aposentado pela UFMT, tendo atuado no ensino superior e na educação básica. Sua história de lutas sempre foi junto aos movimentos movimentos sociais: questão indígena, especialmente junto aos Bóe Bororo; questões culturais e socioambientais. Ph.D. in Social Sciences / Anthropology at PUC-SP in 2004. He studied Indigenous Identity, addressed the feeling and ways of existing of societies as factors of social identity and defended the thesis of transpermanence. Graduated in Social Sciences from UNESP, he also holds a degree in History, Pedagogy, Geography and Economics. He dedicated his academic life to the Bororo Indians (since 1990) and other MT ethnic groups: Terena, Xavante, Umutina, focusing on the issues of land, the environment and Indigenous School Education. He wrote a book: The Drama of the Boé-Bororo Indigenous School Education and several scientific articles. He is currently retired from UFMT - Federal University of Mato Grosso and works as a researcher and writer in the areas of ethnography, language and education. It has an ethnological and ethnographic indigenous collection, with which it carries out exhibitions. He carries out anthropological and sociological consultancies and advisory services, lectures and courses on social issues, and particularly on the indigenous issue, language and education, environment, solidarity economy and Human Rights.
