PhD student in geochemistry and glaciochemistry at the Postgraduate Program in Geosciences - UFRGS. Currently investigating signs of biomass burning in the Amazon in Andean glaciers. I coordinated a scientific expedition in October and November 2020 in areas of deforestation and forest fires in Acre, Brazilian Amazon rainforest. I coordinated a scientific expedition in September and October 2022 in areas of vegetation fires in the Andean altiplano in Cusco, forest fires in Camanti, Peruvian Amazon, and in areas with records and signs of biomass burning such as Lake Huacarpay and Nevado Suyuparina, Peru . I participated in the Scientific Expedition to the Quelccaya ice cap, Peru in August and September 2022. I was Chapter 7 Scientist, IPCC Working Group III Volunteer Scientist Chapter, Agriculture, Environment and Other Land Uses (AFOLU) in 2019, New Delhi, India. Worked as assistant scientist and technical support for the Max Planck Institute of Biogeochemistry - Jena-Germany at ATTO - Observatório da Torre Alta da Amazônia, Amazonas - BR. I am MSc in Geosciences in the postgraduate program Climate and Environment - CLIAMB - National Institute of Amazonian Research - INPA, Amazonas - BR. I learned radiocarbon techniques during my master's degree, at the Department of Earth Sciences, Radiocarbon Laboratory -W.M. Keck Accelerator Mass Spectrometer Laboratory (KCCAMS), located at the University of California at Irvine, where radiocarbon analyzes were carried out on soils in five areas of the Legal Amazon.
