Gilda Lisbôa Guimarães

Professor at the Department of Teaching and Curriculum at the Federal University of Pernambuco. Graduated in Pedagogy from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1982), Master in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1994), PhD in Cognitive Psychology from the Federal University of Pernambuco (2002), with a postdoctoral degree at the University of Burgos/Spain (2011) and at Université Laval/Canada (2012). Professor of the Post graduate Course in Mathematics and Technological Education - Edumatec. She researches and guides studies in the field of Statistical Education related to the teaching and learning of teachers and students. She is the leader of the Research Group of CNPQ-Group of Study in Statistical Education in Elementary School - Gref.

Professora da Pós graduação em Educação Matemática e Tecnológica - Edumatec. Pesquisa e orienta estudos na área de Educação Estatística relacionados ao ensino e a aprendizagem de professores e alunos. É lider do Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPQ - Grupo de Estudo em Educação Estatística no Ensino Fundamental - Gref.
