Fulbright fellow for the Capes/Fulbright Visiting Professor/researcher Program in the USA at the University of Pittsburgh (2010), Harvard University (2014) and University of Florida (2023-24).Experience in Architecture and Civil Engineering [Sustainable Design and Construction, Environmental Assessment of building projects and Life Cycle Assessment applied to the built environment]. With +300 articles in journals and conferences, she has interacted with +630 collaborators. Editorial board member of SASBE Journal (2012-13), Municipal Engineer (2013-2020) and PARC (2020-). Participated in International Cooperations with the Univ. of Pittsburgh, Swanson School of Engineering, with emphasis on sustainable product development (2006-2010) and IGERT, in Sustainable Construction and Sustainable Water Use (2005/12); with the Groupe des Ecoles des Mines of France (GEM), by NEXES, in the recycling of steel mill waste (2006). The CNPq research group "NEXES - Núcleo de Excelência em Escórias Siderúrgicas", of which she is co-leader, received the Ecology Award 2005 for the development of low environmental impact construction products, with seven pending patent applications.
