Possui graduação em Psicologia pela Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (1992), mestrado em Psicologia (Psicologia Cognitiva) pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1998), doutorado em Estudos da Linguagem pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2008) e Pós-doutorado pelo Birkbeck College - University of London (2014) e City University of New York (2015). Atualmente é professora Associada da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte junto ao Departamento de Línguas e Literaturas Estrangeiras Modernas, atuando igualmente no Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos da Linguagem da UFRN. Na graduação atua com ensino e formação de professores de língua francesa. Na Pós-graduação atua na área da Linguística Aplicada sendo membro do Grupo de Pesquisa Práticas Discursivas na Contemporaneidade, membro da Associação Brasileira de Linguística Aplicada (ALAB) bem como da Associação Internacional de Linguística Aplicada (AILA). Pesquisadora visitante na Université Clermont Auvergne (França) entre Outubro de 2022 a Março de 2023. Professora visitante no Instituto de Plurilinguismo da Universidade de Fribourg (Suíça) de Abril de 2023 a Março de 2024. Tem interesse de pesquisa nas seguintes áreas: ensino e aprendizagem de línguas estrangeiras; Construção de identidade(s); multilingualismo e interculturalidade; políticas linguísticas no contexto das sociedades globalizadas; internacionalizacão do ensino superior.
Renata Archanjo has a degree in Psychology from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1992), a Master's degree in Psychology (Cognitive Psychology) from the Federal University of Pernambuco (1998), a PhD in Language Studies from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (2008) and a Postdoctoral from Birkbeck College - University of London (2014) and City University of New York (2015). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte at the Department of Modern Foreign Languages #8203;#8203;and Literature, also working in the Graduate Program in Language Studies at UFRN. At the undergraduate level, she works with teaching and training teachers of the French language. At postgraduate level, she works in the area of #8203;#8203;Applied Linguistics, being a member of the Research Group on Discursive Practices in Contemporaneity, member of the Brazilian Association of Applied Linguistics (ALAB) as well as the International Association of Applied Linguistics (AILA). Visiting researcher at Université Clermont Auvergne (France) from October 2022 to March 2023. Visiting professor at the Institute of Plurilingualism at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) from April 2023 to March 2024. She has research interests in the following areas: teaching and foreign language learning; Construction of identity(ies); multilingualism and interculturality; language policies in the context of globalized societies; internationalization of higher education.
