Graduated in Animal Science from the Faculty of Sciences Graduated in Animal Science from the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences - FCAV-UNESP de Jaboticabal (1995), Masters in Animal Science (Animal Production) from FCAV-UNESP de Jaboticabal (1999) and Ph.D. Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science - FMZV - UNESP de Botucatu (2003). He is currently researcher A at the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation-EMBRAPA Rondônia. She is executive secretary of the Local Publications Committee (CLP) and member of the Animal Production Center (NPA), the Internal Technical Committee (CTI) and the Ethics Committee on Animal Use (CEUA) of Embrapa Rondônia. She coordinated a technological development project financed by Banco da Amazônia (BASA) for the development of Arbopasto Software. She participates in the Integrated Amazon Project, which has resources from the Amazon Fund / BNDES as the manager of one of the network projects to determine technologies aimed at SAF's, ILPF and recovery of degraded pastures with potential for application in the Amazon region. She is a permanent professor at the Postgraduate Program in Regional Development and Environment (PPGDRA) at the Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR). She has experience in Animal Science, with an emphasis on Domestic Ruminant Production, acting on the following topics: silvopastoral systems, feed evaluation for ruminants and characterization of thermal comfort and animal behavior in grazing. Currently, it has 31 articles published in scientific journals, 11 book chapters, 3 organized books, 35 technical-scientific publications and 133 publications in congress proceedings.
Pesquisadora há 17 anos na Embrapa, com atuação em Rondônia, doutora em Zootecnia e responsável pelo Núcleo de Produção Animal desta Unidade. Atuou e continua trabalhando em diversos projetos voltados para a integração lavoura-pecuária- floresta na Amazônia, com foco em sustentabilidade, arborização de pastagens, conforto térmico e comportamento de bovinos em pastejo. Também é docente permanente no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Desenvolvimento Regional e Meio Ambiente da Universidade Federal de Rondônia (UNIR), autora de mais 10 capítulos de livros, organizadora de três livros e com dezenas de publicações técnico-científicas. Tem experiência na área de Zootecnia, com ênfase em Produção de Ruminantes Domésticos, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: sistemas silvipastoris, avaliação de alimentos para ruminantes e caracterização de conforto térmico e comportamento animal em pastejo.
