Associate Professor I of the Federal University of Sergipe (UFS), linked to the Department of Graduation in Education in Agricultural Sciences and land of the Sertão Campus - DECATS/CAMPUSSER, Nossa Senhora da Glória, Sergipe, since 07/06/2020. Graduated in History (1998) and Master's degree in Sociology (2003) from UFS, Doctorate in History from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) in 2012, Post-doctorate in Education from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) in 2022. He held the position of coordinator of the History course of the Sertão Campus of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) between 2013 and 2015 and vice-rector of UFAL between 21/01/2016 to 22/01/2020. He was a professor at the State Education Network of Sergipe (1998-2013); of the Municipal Education Network of Aracaju (2002-2013) and the History and Social Work courses of Tiradentes University between 2004 and 2013. He has been working since 2013 with the Graduate Program in History (PPGH/UFAL) and since 2021 with the Professional Graduate Program in History Teaching (PROFHISTÓRIA/UFS). He has worked on several deliberative councils: IHGSE, ACALE, CONSUNI/UFAL, SEBRAE, FECOEP, FUNDEPES, CONEDES among others. He is one of the leaders of the Study and Research Group on History, Society and Culture (GEPHISCCNPq) and the Research, Extension and Development Center of the Hareh Hare (NUPEDS/UFAL/UFS).He is the author of the books: "From autonomy to democratic resistance: student movement, higher education and society in Sergipe, 1950-1985, published in 2017; and "Socio-historical formation of Brazil", published in 2010; and one of the organizers of the books "Manoel Bonfim and Latin America: one hundred years the publication of Latin America: evils of origin", published in 2010; and "Historical Learning: spaces, supports and experiences", published in 2020, and dozens of book chapters, articles published in specialized scientific journals and articles published in the press. He works in several editorial boards: IHGSE Magazine, Historical Criticism, Historiographic Review, Spearhead, among others. Coordinated the 70th Annual Meeting of the Brazilian Society for the Progress of Science, held in Alagoas in 2018, with the theme "Science, social responsibility and sovereignty".He has experience in History, Education, Sociology and Agrarian Sciences, with emphasis on studies on History of Brazil Republic, History Teaching, Social History of the Sertão, Agrarian History, Oral History and History of Present Time. He has oriented the following themes/objects of study: knowledge, experiences, supports and spaces about teaching history in the classroom; higher education and higher education institutions, expansion and interiorization; dictatorship, redemocratization and new republic; social movements of the city and the countryside, student movement, collectives and their actions in social networks; agrarian issues, agrarian reform, family farming and settlements; backtão, popular culture and social resistance; biographies, orality and memories; and associated study objects.
Professor Associado II da Universidade Federal de Sergipe (UFS), vinculado ao Departamento de Graduação em Educação em Ciências Agrárias e da Terra do Campus do Sertão - DECATS/CAMPUSSER, Nossa Senhora da Glória, Sergipe, desde 06/07/2020. Licenciado em História (1998) e Mestrado em Sociologia (2003) pela UFS, Doutorado em História pela Universidade Federal da Bahia (UFBA) em 2012, Pós-doutorado em Educação junto à Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE) em 2022. Exerceu o cargo de coordenador do curso de História do Campus do Sertão da Universidade Federal de Alagoas (UFAL) entre 2013 a 2015 e de vice-reitor da UFAL entre 21/01/2016 a 22/01/2020. Foi professor da Rede Estadual de Educação de Sergipe (1998-2013); da Rede Municipal de Educação de Aracaju (2002-2013) e dos cursos de História e de Serviço Social da Universidade Tiradentes entre 2004 e 2013. Atua desde 2013 junto junto ao Programa Pós-graduação em História (PPGH/UFAL) e desde 2021 junto ao Programa de Pós-graduação Profissional em Ensino de História (PROFHISTÓRIA/UFS). Atuou em diversos conselhos deliberativos: IHGSE, ACALE, CONSUNI/UFAL, SEBRAE, FECOEP, FUNDEPES, CONEDES entre outros. É um dos líderes do Grupo de Estudos e de Pesquisa em História, Sociedade e Cultura (GEPHISC\CNPq) e do Núcleo de Pesquisa, Extensão e Desenvolvimento do Sertão do São Francisco (NUPEDS/UFAL/UFS). É autor dos livros: "Da autonomia à resistência democrática: movimento estudantil, ensino superior e a sociedade em Sergipe, 1950-1985, publicado em 2017; e "Formação sócio-histórica do Brasil", publicado em 2010; e um dos organizadores dos livros "Manoel Bonfim e a América Latina: cem anos a publicação de América Latina: males de origem", publicado em 2010; e "Aprendizagem Histórica: espaços, suportes e experiências", publicado em 2020, e dezenas de capítulos de livros, artigos publicados em revistas científicas especializadas e artigos publicados junto à imprensa. Atua em diversos conselhos editoriais: Revista do IHGSE, Crítica Histórica, Resenha Historiográfica, Ponta de Lança, entre outros. Coordenou a 70ª Reunião Anual da Sociedade Brasileira para o Progresso da Ciência, ocorrido em Alagoas em 2018, com o tema ?Ciência, responsabilidade social e soberania?.Tem experiência na área de História, Educação, Sociologia e Ciências Agrárias, com ênfase em estudos sobre História do Brasil República, Ensino de História, História Social do Sertão, História Agrária, História Oral e História do Tempo Presente.Tem orientado os seguintes temas/objetos de estudo: saberes, experiências, suportes e espaços sobre o ensino de história em sala de aula; instituições de ensino e ensino superior, expansão e interiorização; ditadura, redemocratização e nova república; movimentos sociais da cidade e do campo, movimento estudantil, coletivos e suas atuações em redes sociais; questões agrárias, reforma agrária, agricultura familiar e assentamentos; sertão, cultura popular e resistência social; biografias, oralidade e memórias; e objetos de estudo associados.
