Doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2010). Mestrado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2004). Graduada em Educação Artística/Artes Plásticas - Licenciatura pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (1992). Graduanda em Filosofia pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2020). Professora da Graduação e do Programa Associado de Pós-Graduação em Artes Visuais UFPE/UFPB. Atua no Ensino das Artes Visuais com ênfase nas temáticas: memórias, história do ensino de arte, formação docente em arte, práticas pedagógicas em arte.

He works in the Teaching of Visual Arts with emphasis on the themes: history of art teaching, memories, teacher training in art, pedagogical practices in art.
