Doctorating in Education in Health Sciences at the State University of Montes Claros / UNIMONTES, Master of Education in Health Sciences, Federal University of São Paulo / UNIFESP (2010), Education Specialist at the Center for Health Development of Higher Education in Health / CEDESS-UNIFESP (2007) and Teaching in Higher Education at the State University of Montes Claros / UNIMONTES (2003). Graduated in Medicine at North Mining / FUNM (1980) University Foundation. He is currently teaching at UNIMONTES. Teaching of medical school and currently holds the position of Director of the Center for Biological and Health Sciences / CCBS Unimontes. Faculty of the Medical College of Integrated Schools Pythagoras of Montes Claros / FIP-MOC. Actively participated in curricular change of the course of Medicine UNIMONTES to use methods of teaching / learning, student-centered process. He has experience in education, with emphasis on interdisciplinarity and training / teacher development in active teaching / learning.

Possui graduação em Medicina pela Fundação Universitária Norte Mineira (1980), mestrado em Ensino em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2009) e doutorado em Ciências da Saúde pela Universidade Estadual de Montes Claros (2016). Atualmente é membro do corpo clínico - Santa Casa de Misericordia de Montes Claros, professora do Centro Universitário - FIPMoc e médico especialista da Prefeitura Municipal de Montes Claros - Secretaria Municipal de Saúde. Tem experiência na área de Medicina, com ênfase em Saúde Materno-Infantil, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação médica e interdisciplinaridade.
