Paulo Ghinato

Ghinato holds a Ph.D. Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Kobe University (1998) - Japan, a Master's in Production Engineering (1994) and a B.Sc. Degree in Metallurgical Engineering (1987), both from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Ghinato has over 35 years of experience in the fields of Operations Management and Industrial Engineering, being very active in subjects such as Manufacturing Strategy, Layout Design, Toyota Production System (TPS), Lean Enterprise Implementation, Lean Leadership, LEAN, JIT, JIDOKA, HOSHIN KANRI, SHOJINKA, KANBAN, HEIJUNKA, SMED, TPM and POKA-YOKE.

Ghinato é Graduado em Engenharia Metalúrgica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1987), Mestre em Engenharia de Produção pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1994) e Ph.D. em Engenharia de Sistemas de Manufatura - Kobe University (1998) - Japão. Atualmente é CEO da Lean Way Consulting - empresa de Consultoria em Gestão de Operações, especializada em Lean System. Ghinato tem mais de 25 anos de experiência na área de Engenharia de Produção, com ênfase em Lean System (Produção Enxuta), atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: JIT, KANBAN, HEIJUNKA, SMED, TPM, POKA-YOKE e JIDOKA.
