Cartographic Engineer (2008), Master (2011), and Ph.D (2015) in Cartographic Sciences from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FCT) at São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp), campus of Presidente Prudente. She was part of the faculty at the University of Western São Paulo (Unoeste) between 2015 and 2023, teaching courses in the area of Geomatics (Remote Sensing, Cartography and Geoprocessing) and conducting research within the postgraduate programs in Environmental and Regional Development and Agronomy. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor at FCT/Unesp based in the Department of Cartography. She has experience in the area of Geosciences, with emphasis on Cartography and Remote Sensing. In recent years, she has been investigating the potential of machine learning techniques in the processing of Remote Sensing data, aiming to meet agro-environmental applications. She participates as a member of the IEEE Brazil Chapter and the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS), and serves as secretary (2023 - present) of the GRSS Brazil Chapter. She is part of the editorial board of important scientific journals in the field of Remote Sensing and/or Cartography, such as the Brazilian Journal of Cartography (SBC), Forest (MDPI), and the International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation (Elsevier). She collaborates as a reviewer for high-impact journals in the field of Remote Sensing, such as ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, Remote Sensing, IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters, IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing. She holds a CNPq Research Productivity Fellowship (2021-2024) in the area of Geosciences (level PQ-2)."
Doutora e mestre em Ciências Cartográficas pela Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia (FCT) da Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (Unesp). Possui graduação em engenheira cartográfica também pela FCT/Unesp. Integrou o corpo docente da Universidade do Oeste Paulista (Unoeste) entre 2015 e 2023, ministrando disciplinas na área de Geomática (Sensoriamento Remoto, Cartografia e Geoprocessamento) e desenvolvendo pesquisas junto aos programas de pós-graduação em Meio Ambiente e Desenvolvimento Regional e Agronomia. Atualmente, é Professora Assistente Doutora da FCT/Unesp lotada no Departamento de Cartografia. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Cartografia e Sensoriamento Remoto. Nos últimos anos, tem investigado o potencial de técnicas de machine learning no processamento de dados de Sensoriamento Remoto, visando atender aplicações agroambientais. Participa como membro do IEEE Brazil Chapter e da Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS), e está como secretária (2023 - atual) do GRSS Brazil Chapter. Compõe o corpo editorial de importantes revistas científicas na área de Sensoriamento Remoto e/ou Cartografia, como a Revista Brasileira de Cartografia (SBC), a Forest (MDPI) e o International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation (Elsevier).
