Saulo Custodio de Aquino Ferreira

Doctorate in Production Engineering in the area of ​​Production Management with emphasis on prediction models by PUC-Rio and Researcher of Instituto Tecgraf. Master in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Optimization of Energy Systems by UFJF and graduated in Production Engineering from UFJF. I was a Substitute Professor of the Department of Production and Mechanical Engineering at UFJF in the years 2017 and 2018. I am currently developing research in the area of ​​forecasting models for generating scenarios of renewable sources applicable to Brazilian energy planning. Other lines of studies are statistical analyzes applied to the petrochemical industry, Linear Optimization, Nonlinear, Whole-Mixed, Heuristics and Bio-Inspired to solve problems of Distribution and Restoration of Energy, Energy Planning and Optimum Allocation of Distributed Generation. Participated in the research groups of Analysis of Time Series of PUC-Rio, Heuristic Optimization and Bioinspiration of UFJF and Nucleus of Research in Power Systems of UFJF. And no less relevant, I also have experience in the areas of Project Management, Process Management and Production Planning and Control.

Doutorando em Engenharia de Produção na área de Gerência de Produção com ênfase em modelos de previsão pela PUC-Rio e Pesquisador do Instituto Tecgraf. Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica com ênfase em Otimização de Sistemas de Energia pela UFJF (2017) e graduado em Engenharia de Produção pela UFJF (2014). Professor Substituto do Departamento de Engenharia de Produção e Mecânica da UFJF nos anos de 2017 e 2018. Atualmente desenvolvo pesquisas na área de modelos de previsão para geração de cenários de fontes renováveis aplicáveis ao planejamento energético brasileiro. Outras linhas de estudos são analises estatísticas aplicada a industria petroquímica, Otimização Linear, Não-Linear, Inteira-Mista, Heurísticas e Bio-Inspiradas buscando resolver problemas de Distribuição e Restabelecimento de Energia, Planejamento Energético e Alocação Ótima de Geração Distribuída. Participo dos grupos de pesquisas de Análise de Séries Temporais da PUC-Rio, Otimização Heurística e Bioinspirada da UFJF e Núcleo de Pesquisa em Sistemas de Potência da UFJF. E não menos relevante, também possuo experiência nas áreas de Gestão de Projetos, Gestão de Processos e Planejamento e Controle da Produção.
