Mestre em Educação: Conhecimento e Inclusão Social pela Faculdade de Educação da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Licenciada em Educação Física pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). Membro do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisa em História da Ginástica (GEPHGI), Centro de Pesquisa em História da Educação (GEPHE) e do Centro de Memória da Educação Física, do Esporte e do Lazer, da Escola de Educação Física (CEMEF), todos da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG).
