Thiago Lima da Silva

Graduated in Agronomic Engineering (2008) and Master in Agroecosystems from the Federal University of Sergipe (2011). He was an Agronomist at the Department of Agronomic Engineering and Substitute Professor at the Center for Agricultural Engineering at the Federal University of Sergipe, he is currently a Professor at the Federal Institute of Sergipe and a PhD candidate in Agricultural Systems Engineering at the School of Agriculture "Luiz de Queiroz" - ESALQ/ USP. He has experience in the area of Soil and Water Management, working mainly on the following topics: Retractable Irrigation, Optimal Water Range, Soil Physics, Agricultural Mechanization and Precision Agriculture.

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica e mestrado em Agroecossistemas pela Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Exerceu funções públicas como Engenheiro Agrônomo do Departamento de Engenharia Agronômica e Professor Substituto do Núcleo de Engenharia Agrícola da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Atualmente é Professor efetivo do Instituto Federal de Sergipe e doutorando em Engenharia de sistemas agrícolas na Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" - ESALQ/USP. Tem interesse em temas como Agricultura de precisão (Deep Learning), Mineração de dados, Mecanização agrícola e Física do solo.
