Fernando Suarez de Oliveira

Doutor em Estudos Linguísticos pela UFMG (Linguística do Texto e do Discurso), possui Mestrado em Estudos Linguísticos pela mesma instituição (Linguística Teórica e Descritiva), bem como graduação em Letras, com habilitação em inglês e ênfase em estudos linguísticos. Possui experiência como revisor e redator de Língua Inglesa em editora de material didático, bem como experiência com análise pedagógica no mesmo segmento. Tendoa atuado com professor de graduação em Língua Inglesa, atualmente atua como professor da mesma língua, porém em cursos livres, e trabalha com pesquisa na área de Textualidade e Textualização, com base na Teoria da Estrutura Retórica (RST).

PhD in Linguistics in UFMG (Text and Discourse Linguistics), also MA in Linguistics (Theoretical and Descriptive Linguistics), as well as graduated in Languages in the same institution, with specification in English and linguistic studies. Has worked as a proof-editor and editor in English for a publishing house involved with teaching material, and also has experience with pedagogical analysis in the same area. Furthermore, having worked as English professor in undergraduation course, works as English teacher in language courses. Nowadays carries out researches in the area of Textuality and Textualization, under the light of the Rethorical Sturcture Theory (RST).
