Camilo Arturo Rodríguez Díaz

Nasceu em Bogotá, Colômbia, em setembro de 1984. Graduou-se em Engenharia Eletrônica pela Escuela Colombiana de Carreras Industriales, Bogotá, Colômbia, em 2008, onde recebeu a nota de honra, concedida ao maior GPA de sua classe. De 2009 a 2011 atuou como professor assistente na mesma universidade. Em 2012, ingressou no Grupo de Robótica e Automação Industrial da Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES), Vitória / ES, Brasil, onde obteve seu M.Sc. licenciatura em engenharia elétrica (2014). No mesmo ano ingressou no Laboratório de Telecomunicações (LABTEL) da UFES e obteve o seu doutoramento em Engenharia Elétrica em 2018. De 2018 a 2020 foi Pós-Doutorado no LABTEL, UFES. Atualmente é professor do Departamento de Engenharia Elétrica da UFES. Seus interesses de pesquisa atuais incluem o estudo e simulação de sensores de fibra óptica, técnicas de interrogação para medições estáticas e dinâmicas, sistemas robóticos, instrumetação, sistemas embebidos.

He received the BSc degree in Electronic Engineering from the Escuela Colombiana de Carreras Industriales, Bogota, Colombia, in 2008, where he received the grade of honor, awarded to the highest GPA of his class. In 2012, he joined the Robotics and Industrial Automation Group at Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES), Vitoria/ES, Brazil, where he obtained his M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering (2014). Same year, he joined to the Laboratorio de Telecomunicações (LABTEL), UFES and obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering in 2018. From 2018 to 2020 he was Postdoctoral fellow at LABTEL, UFES. Currently, he is professor at the Electrical Enginering Deparment at UFES. His current research interests include the study and simulation of optical fiber sensors, interrogation techniques for static and dynamic measurements, robotics systems, instrumetation. embeded systems.
