Jéssica Moraes Cruvinel
Jessica Cruvinel is a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Missouri-Columbia. She graduated with Bachelor of Animal Science from UFG, and subsequently obtained Master Degree in Animal Science and a PhD both from the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP), Brazil. Jessica obtained her PhD on the use of regional plant extract (Caryocar brasiliense Camb.) in heat-challenged broiler chicken diets to evaluate poultry performance, meat quality, lipid oxidation, liver enzymes activities, and gene expression. Her current research interest includes feed additives, intestinal health, and alternative to antibiotic feed supplements.
graduation at Zootecnia from Universidade Federal de Goiás - Regional Jataí (2015) and master's at Zootecnia no Programa de Pós Graduação em Zootecnia (Conceito CAPES 6) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2018). Has experience in Zoothecny, focusing on Zoothecny, acting on the following subjects: óleo de pequi, alimentos alternativos, nutrição de aves, gut heath and postbiotics,.
