Marcelo Silva Freitas

Possui graduação em Física Computacional pela USP - São Carlos, mestrado em Redes de Computadores pela mesma instituição e doutorado pela Faculdade de Computação da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Com especializações em Tecnologia da Informação e Docência Universitária, é professor adjunto do curso de Bacharelado em Ciências da Computação da Universidade Federal de Jataí.

Prof. Marcelo Silva Freitas, Ph.D. is an associate professor at Federal University of Jataí (UFJ) at Computer Science course since 2009 with growing experience at teaching and research. He holds a B.S. in Computational Physics from University of São Paulo (USP) and got his M.S. degree in Computer Networks from the same institution. Received the Ph.D. degree in Software Defined Networks from Faculty of Computing (FACOM) in the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Has postgraduate courses in Information Technology and University Teaching. Future Networks, IoT, Software Defined Networking, Network Function Virtualization, Autonomous Networks are among his main current research interests.
