Saulo Mendes Santos

Bacharel em Direito (FEAD/2015) e em Letras/Linguística (UFMG/2017), Mestre em Linguística Teórica e Descritiva (UFMG/2020). Atualmente faz doutorado em cotutela internacional em Linguística, pelo Programa de Pós-graduação em Estudos Linguísticos (PosLin) da Faculdade de Letras da UFMG (POSLIN/FALE/UFMG), e em Ciências da Compução, pela Escola Doutoral de Ciências e Tecnologias da Informação e da Comunicação na Universidade Paris-Saclay (ED STIC/UPS), pesquisando sobre o reconhecimento automático de unidades informacionais curtas da fala espontânea com base em parâmetros acústico-prosódicos. É bolsista do Initiative d'Excellence (Université Paris-Saclay). É membro do projeto C-ORAL-BRASIL e integrante do Laboratório de Estudos Empíricos e Experimentais da Linguagem da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Foi bolsista do programa CAPES/PROEX. Foi bolsista do Programa de Apoio Pedagógico ao Núcleo Comum, das áreas de Sintaxe, Semântica, Pragmática e Linguística Comparada. Foi professor estagiário de Línguas Francesa e Alemã do CENEX/FALE/UFMG.

Currently doing a PhD in international co-supervisor in Linguistics, by the Postgraduate Program in Linguistic Studies (PosLin) of the Faculty of Letters of UFMG (POSLIN/FALE/UFMG), and Computer Sciences, by the Doctoral School of Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies at the University of Paris-Saclay (ED STIC/UPS), researching on the automatic recognition of short informational units of spontaneous speech based on acoustic-prosodic parameters. An Initiative d'Excellence Fellow (Université Paris-Saclay). Member of the C-ORAL-BRASIL project, of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Digital Sciences (CNRS/University of Paris-Saclay) and of the Laboratory of Empirical and Experimental Language Studies at the Federal University of Minas Gerais. A CAPES/PROEX Fellow. Former fellow of the Program for Pedagogical Support to the Common Core of Linguistics disciplines (FALE/UFMG), in the areas of Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics and Comparative Linguistics. Former trainee teacher of French and German languages at CENEX/FALE/UFMG.
