Full Professor of the Physical Education Course at the Federal University of Paraná - UFPR. Effective Professor of the Postgraduate Program in Physical Education at UFPR. He holds a Doctorate and Master's degree in Exercise Physiology. Leader of the CEPEFIS Research Group - UFPR Physical Performance Studies Center, since 2001. He works mainly in the development of research in the following areas: Sports Performance and Physical Activity and Health.

Professor Titular do Curso de Educação Física da Universidade Federal do Paraná - UFPR. Professor Efetivo do Programa de Pós Graduação em Educação Física da UFPR. Possui Doutorado e Mestrado em Fisiologia do Exercício. Líder do Grupo de Pesquisa CEPEFIS - Centro de Estudos da Performance Física da UFPR, desde 2001. Atua principalmente nos desenvolvimento de pesquisas nas seguintes áreas: Desempenho Esportivo e Atividade Física e Saúde.
