Douglas Mota Xavier de Lima

Professor Adjunto da Universidade Federal do Oeste do Pará (UFOPA), campus Santarém, na área de História Antiga e Medieval. Doutor (2016) e Mestre (2012) em História pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em História da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Bacharel e Licenciado em História (2009) pela UFF. Pós-doutorado em História pela UNESP-Franca (2023). Pesquisa temas relacionados ao Poder e sociedade na Baixa Idade Média Ibérica, Diplomacia e relações diplomáticas medievais, Viagens medievais e Ensino de História. Atuou como professor do Ensino Fundamental na rede particular e pública entre 2009 e 2014, e como Professor-Tutor no curso de Licenciatura em História (EAD) da UNIRIO, no convênio entre o CEDERJ e a Universidade Aberta do Brasil (UAB). Coordenador do LEGATIO: Grupo de Pesquisa, Ensino e Extensão em História Medieval e Ensino de história. Vice-líder do Sigillum: Estudos sobre Diplomacia e história diplomática. Membro da Rede Brasileira de Estudos em História Moderna (H_Moderna), da American Academy of Research Historians of Medieval Spain (AARHMS), da Renaissance Society of America (RSA), da Royal Studies Network, e do Scriptorium - Laboratório de Estudos Medievais e ibéricos da UFF.

He served as a teacher of Elementary Education in the private and public network between 2009 and 2014, and as a Professor-Tutor in the Degree in History (EAD) course at UNIRIO, in the agreement between CEDERJ and the Open University of Brazil (UAB). Coordinator of LEGATIO: Group for Research, Teaching and Extension in Medieval History and History Teaching. Sigillum Deputy Leader: Studies in Diplomacy and Diplomatic History. Member of the Brazilian Network of Studies in Modern History (H_Moderna), of the American Academy of Research Historians of Medieval Spain (AARHMS), of the Renaissance Society of America (RSA), of the Royal Studies Network, and of the Scriptorium - Laboratory of Medieval and Iberian Studies from UFF.
