Andre Marcorin de Oliveira

André Marcorin de Oliveira obtained his D. Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering (Systems Engineering) from the Polytechnic School (POLI) of the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. He was a visiting Ph.D. student at the Research Center for Automatic Control of Nancy (CNRA) of the University of Lorraine (UL), France. He obtained his M.Sc. and B.Eng. degrees from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (FEEC) of the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Undergraduate award recipient for best student of the Electrical Engineering course at UNICAMP. He was Postdoctoral researcher at the University of São Paulo. Currently, he is a Professor at the Institute of Science and Technology (ICT) of the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). His research interests include control and filtering theory, Markov jump systems, Networked Control Systems, and Active Fault-Tolerant Control Systems.

André Marcorin de Oliveira possui o título de Doutor em Ciências pelo programa de Engenharia Elétrica, área de Engenharia de Sistemas, da Escola Politécnica da USP. Foi pesquisador visitante (visiteur doctorant) no Centre de Recherche en Automatique de Nancy (CRAN) da Université de Lorraine, França. Possui graduação e título de Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica, área de Automação, ambos pela Faculdade de Engenharia Elétrica e da Computação da UNICAMP. Ganhou o prêmio CREA-SP Formação Profissional e o Prêmio Instituto de Engenharia em 2013. Foi pesquisador de pós-doutorado na Escola Politécnica da USP. Atualmente é Professor Adjunto no Instituto de Ciência e Tecnologia (ICT) da UNIFESP. Atua principalmente nas áreas de controle e filtragem para sistemas lineares com saltos markovianos.
