Doctoral student at the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo (FEUSP), Master in Public Policy from the Federal University of ABC researching educational policies, researching the relationship between time and education, Julia graduated in 2007 in Social Communication with specialization in Journalism at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo. From 2013 to 2018, she was the manager of the Reference Center for Integral Education, a program developed by Cidade Escola Aprendiz Association in partnership with 12 non-governmental organizations, including support from the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (Unesco) and the National Union Directorate of Municipal Education (Undime). She was a PIBIC / CNPq scholarship holder for two years under the guidance of Prof. Dr. José Luiz Aidar Prado in the central project "The Other's Invention in the Weekly Media (hypermedia construction)". She has published works in Media Analysis, training materials for students and public sector agents and several reports on education, health, citizenship and human rights and is the author of articles, chapters and books on the themes of education, human rights, community communication and educommunication. She worked in different social organizations in São Paulo, and for one year, in 2008, she was Program Manager at Village Exchange International, an international organization for reproductive health, sexuality and women's empowerment in Ho, city of Ghana, in West Africa. She was an advisor to the National Youth Council (Conjuve) and an activist for the international TakingITGlobal network for youth mobilization. Currently, she develops research on sectoral public policies in education, health and social assistance and develops training strategies and materials for public sectors, schools and non-governmental organizations and their respective agents.
Doutoranda na Faculdade de Educação da Universidade de São Paulo (FEUSP), mestre em Políticas Públicas pela Universidade Federal do ABC pesquisando políticas educacionais, pesquisando o papel do tempo na educação, graduou-se em 2007 em Comunicação Social com habilitação em Jornalismo na Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo. De 2013 a 2018, foi gestora do Centro de Referências em Educação Integral, programa da Associação Cidade Escola Aprendiz em parceria com 12 organizações não-governamentais, incluindo o apoio da Organização das Nações Unidas para Educação, Ciência e Cultura (Unesco) e da União Nacional dos Dirigentes Municipais de Educação (Undime). Foi bolsista do PIBIC/CNPq por dois anos sob orientação do Prof. Dr. José Luiz Aidar Prado no projeto central "A invenção do Outro na Mídia Semanal (construção hipermidiática)". Publicou trabalhos em Análise de Mídia, materiais técnicos, instrucionais e de formação para estudantes e agentes públicos e diversas reportagens em educação, saúde cidadania e direitos humanos e é autora de artigos, capítulos e livros nas temáticas de educação, direitos humanos, comunicação comunitária e educomunicação. Atuou em diferentes organizações sociais em São Paulo, e, por um ano, em 2008, foi Gestora de Programas na Village Exchange International, organização de atuação internacional para saúde reprodutiva, sexualidade e empoderamento feminino em Ho, cidade de Gana, no oeste africano. Foi conselheira do Conselho Nacional de Juventude (Conjuve) e ativista da rede internacional TakingITGlobal para mobilização da juventude. Atualmente, desenvolve pesquisas em políticas públicas setoriais em educação, saúde e assistência social e desenvolve estratégias de formação e materiais para setores públicos, escolas e organizações não-governamentais e seus respectivos agentes.
