Ana Cláudia Alencar Lopes
PhD in Agricultural Microbiology at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA). Bachelor of Engineering in Bioprocess and Biotechnology from the Federal University of Tocantins (UFT). Inter-exchange during undergraduation at the Science without Borders program at Brock University (Canada). Research focused on selection of yeastsand development of new fermented and distilled beverages. I have vast experience in optimization of fermentative processes, microorganism screening, investigation of alternative substrates, and analysis of microbial metabolites. Hands-on experience with the development of single and mixed inoculum, liquid and gas chromatography analyses, data compilation, statistics, and technical writing in English.
