Almiro de Sá Ferreira

Professor at the Federal Institute of Paraíba. Doctor of Business Administration from UFPB. Over 30 years of experience in the field of Pubic Management and Technical Education he also has accumulated experience as a Educational Consultant and Researcher at the Ford Foundation, in the INEP and FAPERJ. He was the founder and leader of several institutions (FUNETEC, REMEQ-PB, COOPERCRET and Vice President of Corporate University for Industry - UCIP). Was held executive leadership in many institutions [Deputy Director of ETFPB, Director General of CEFET-PB, Regional Director of SENAI-PB, PB-SESI Superintendent, Superintendent SENAR-PB, etc..] . Has Specialization (lato sensu post graduation) in: (1) Management of Technological Education, the Oklahoma State University - USA, 1996, (2) Social Sciences [Politics and Work in Brazil] by UFPB, 1989, (3) Educational Communication, by Urne - 1985, and (4) Technical Education, the Center for Studies of the Ministry of the Army and the MEC, 1980. He holds a degree from the Federal University of Paraíba in the following courses: Bachelor of Geography - UFPB/1979; Degree in Geography - UFPB/1983 and Pedagogy [Specialization in School Administration]. He has published several scientific papers and is author of the books: Professionalization of the Excluded [2002] and Technological Education (Metrology and Quality - 2011). And he is co-author of the books: The Quality in Technology Education [1997]; Intelligent Management [2009], and Public Management - practices and challenges, Volumes I and II [2008 and 2009] - UFPE.

É Professor do IFPB e Doutor em Administração pela UFPB. Com 30 anos de atuação no campo da Gestão Púbica e da Educação Tecnológica já acumulou também experiência como Consultor Educacional e Pesquisador junto à Fundação FORD, ao INEP e à FAPERJ. Foi fundador e dirigente em diversas instituições (FUNETEC, REMEQ-PB, COOPERCRET e Vice-Presidente da Universidade Corporativa da Indústria - UCIP). Possui formação em Gestão Educacional, tendo exercido vários cargos executivos de liderança [Vice-Diretor da ETFPB, Diretor-Geral do CEFET-PB, Diretor Regional do SENAI-PB, Superintendente do SESI-PB, Superintendente do SENAR-PB, etc.]. É pós-graduado em: (1) Gestão da Educação Tecnológica, pela Oklahoma State University EUA, 1996; (2) Ciências Sociais [Política e Trabalho no Brasil], pela UFPB, 1989; (3) Comunicação Social, pela URNE 1985, e (4) Técnica de Ensino, pelo Centro de Estudos do Ministério do Exército e o MEC, 1980. Tem graduação pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba nos seguintes cursos: Bacharelado em Geografia UFPB/1979; Licenciatura em Geografia UFPB/1983, e Licenciatura em Pedagogia [Habilitação em Administração Escolar]. Já publicou diversos artigos científicos e é autor dos livros: Profissionalização dos Excluídos [2002] e Educação Profissional e Tecnológica (Metrologia e Qualidade - 2011). É coautor dos Livros: A Qualidade na Educação Tecnológica [1997]; Gestão Inteligente [2009], e Gestão Pública práticas e desafios, Volumes I e II [2008 e 2009] UFPE.
