Graduated in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1978), Master's in Physics from the Federal University of Ceará (1981) and Ph.D. in Physics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1988). Associate Professor III at the Federal University of Ceará (1978-2010, retirement year). He was Counselor of the Chamber of Higher and Professional Education, of the State Council of Education, CEC / CE (2003/2009). He was a Researcher of the Category 2 (Research Grant - CNPq (1989/1998) and Postdoctoral Scholarship - CNPq (Department of Atmospheric Sciences, University of Wyoming, Laramie, Wyoming, USA (1991/1993). He was an Course and Institutional Evaluator of INEP. He has experience in the areas of Physics, Meteorology and Assessment, with an emphasis in Physical Meteorology, Meteorological Instrumentation, Magnetic Properties of Material and Global Warming, acting mainly on the following topics: cloud microphysics, burning clouds, Mössbauer Spectroscopy and assessment. Actually he is Professor D4-1 from the Federal Institute of Ceará, Campus Fortaleza (2010 - current).
Possui graduação em Física pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1978), mestrado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1981) e doutorado em Física pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (1988). Atualmente é professor diii-3 do Instituto Federal do Ceará. Tem experiência na área de Geociências, com ênfase em Meteorologia Física, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: microfísica, nuvens, cumulus, amazônia e espectroscopia.
