Wilson Reis Monteiro

Graduated in Agronomy Engineering by the Federal University of Lavras (1976), Masters degree (MSc) in Genetics and Plant Breeding by the Escola Superior de Agricultura "Luiz de Queiroz" (1980) and Phylosophy degree (PhD) in Genetics by the University of Birmingham, UK (1988). Currently I am a cacao researcher in the Executive Plan of Cocoa Farming and also I was an adjunct professor at the State University of Santa Cruz. I have experience in the area of ​​genetics, with an emphasis on Quantitative Genetics, acting on the following topics: genetic improvement of cacao and rubber tree and Statistics

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agronômica pela Universidade Federal de Lavras (1976), mestrado em Genética e Melhoramento de Plantas pela Escola Superior de Agricultura 'Luiz de Queiroz' (1980) e doutorado em Genetica pela University of Birmingham, UK (1988). Atualmente é pesquisador da Comissão Executiva do Plano da Lavoura Cacaueira e foi professor adjunto da Universidade Estadual de Santa Cruz. Tem experiência na área de Genética, com ênfase em Genética Quantitativa, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: melhoramento genetico do cacaueiro, da seringueira e estatítica.
