Irina Naskova Nasteva
Master's in Nuclear and Particle Physics from Sofia University (2002) and PhD in Experimental Particle Physics from University of Manchester (2006). Currently a lecturer at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), working on CP violation in B meson decays and upgrade of the LHCb experiment, and on neutrino detection with the CONNIE experiment.
Mestre em Física pela Universidade de Sófia (2002) e doutora em Física Experimental de Partículas pela Universidade de Manchester (2006). Tem experiência nas áreas de física de sabores pesados, física de neutrinos e desenvolvimento de instrumentação para física de partículas. Já trabalhou nos experimentos CMS, ATLAS e LHCb no acelerador LHC no CERN, e nos experimentos de decaimento beta duplo sem neutrino NEMO3 e SuperNEMO. Atualmente é professora adjunta da UFRJ com pesquisa focada em violação de CP nos decaimentos de mésons B, upgrade do experimento LHCb e detecção de neutrinos no experimento CONNIE.
