EDUARDO GALEMBECK

Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1993), MS in Functional and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (1996), Ph.D. in Functional and Molecular Biology from the State University of Campinas (1999), post doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania - United (2002) and Purdue University - USA (2012/2013). He is currently professor at the University of Campinas, Department of Biochemistry and Tissue Biology of the Institute of Biology. He is co-editor of the journal of Biochemistry Education (www.bioquimica.org.br), editor of the Biblioteca Digital de Ciências (www.bdc.ib.unicamp.br). He is a member of the editorial board of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education (BAMBED) and the education committee of the Pan-American Association for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PABMB). Has experience in the area of ​​biochemistry, with an emphasis in Teaching Biochemistry, acting on the following topics: educational software, teaching biochemistry, distance learning and biology education. Associate researcher of the National Network of Science for Education.

Possui graduação em Bacharelado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (1993), mestrado em Biologia Funcional e Molecular pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1996), doutorado em Biologia Funcional e Molecular pela Universidade Estadual de Campinas (1999), pós doutorado na University of Pennsylvania - EUA (2002) e Purdue University - EUA (2012/2013). Atualmente é professor da Universidade Estadual de Campinas, lotado no departamento de Bioquímica e Biologia Tecidual do Instituto de Biologia. É co-editor da Revista de Ensino de Bioquímica (www.bioquimica.org.br), editor da Biblioteca Digital de Ciências (www.bdc.ib.unicamp.br). É membro do corpo editorial da Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Education e do comitê de educação da Associação Panamericana de Bioquímica e Biologia Molecular (PABMB). Tem experiência na área de Bioquímica, com ênfase em Ensino de Bioquímica, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: software educacional, ensino de bioquímica, ensino a distância e ensino de biologia.
