He holds a bachelor's degree (1988), a Master's degree (1999) and a Doctorate (2005) in Agronomy from the Federal University of Goiás - UFG. He has a specialization in Community Development (Kellogg Foundation and Partners of the Americas), Agricultural Machinery (UFLA) and In Treatment and Final Disposal of Solid and Liquid Waste (UFG). He worked in a resale of agricultural machinery and in the state rural extension (Emater). He is currently associate professor at the Federal University of Goiás, for the courses of Agronomy, Animal Science, Forestry Engineering and specialization in Treatment and Disposal of Solid and Liquid Waste. He has experience in Agronomy, with emphasis on Family Agriculture, Agricultural Mechanization and Sanitation, working mainly with agricultural mechanization and no-tillage in small areas, alternative energies, bamboo and sewage treatment with plants. He has been coordinator of the Bamboo Culture Research and Development Network in the State of Goiás since 2013.

Trabalhou em revenda de máquinas agrícolas e na extensão rural do estado (Emater). Atualmente é professor associado da Universidade Federal de Goiás, para os cursos de Agronomia, Zootecnia, Engenharia Florestal e de especialização em Tratamento e Disposição de Resíduos Sólidos e Líquidos. Tem experiência na área de Agronomia, com ênfase em Agricultura Familiar, Mecanização Agrícola e Saneamento, atuando, principalmente, com mecanização agrícola e plantio direto em pequenas áreas, energias alternativas, bambu e tratamento de esgotos com plantas.É coordenador da Rede de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento da Cultura do Bambu no Estado de Goiás, desde 2013.
