Rodrigo Hartstein Salim

Possui graduação e mestrado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (2006 e 2008, respectivamente) e doutorado em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (2011). Tem experiência na área de Engenharia Elétrica, com ênfase em Sistemas Elétricos de Potência, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: localização de faltas, geração distribuída, sistemas de distribuição, oscilações eletromecânicas e impedância aparente. Atualmente, é pesquisador do Centro de Pesquisas da GE no Rio de Janeiro, GE Global Research Center.

received the Electrical Engineering degree and the Master of Engineering degree in Power Systems from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul in 2006 and 2008, respectively. He received the D.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of São Paulo (São Carlos Engineering School). He has experience in Electrical Engineering, focusing on Power Systems and working in the following subjects: power distribution systems, power system stability, fault location, distributed generation, fault detection, and apparent impedance. Currently, he is a researcher at GE Global Research Center, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
