Pesquisadora do Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa do Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (HIAE), com grande experiência em: Genética Humana, células-tronco pluripotentes induzidas (iPSC), Neurociência, Biologia Celular e Molecular, Análises bioinformáticas de dados de exoma e transcriptoma e edição gênica (CRISPR). Docente permanente do Programa de Pós-Graduação stricto sensu em Ciências da Saúde da Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein (FICSAE). Docente responsável pela disciplina "Células e Genes" do curso de Medicina da FICSAE. Coordenadora e docente dos cursos de pós-graduação lato sensu em Bioinformática Aplicada à Genômica Médica e Fronteiras da Neurociência do HIAE. Doutora em Genética pelo Instituto de Biociências - USP, possuindo título de Bacharelado (2005) e Licenciatura (2007) em Ciências Biológicas pela mesma instituição. Tem experiência na área de Genética Humana, atuando desde 2004 em pesquisas relacionadas a Genética dos Transtornos do Espectro do Autismo e desde de 2019 em projetos relacionados a Terapia Gênica. Durante sua formação, particularmente em estágios realizados na University of California San Diego (UCSD) e no Institute for Stem cell Therapy and Exploration of Monogenic diseases (I-Stem) ? France, se especializou na técnica de reprogramação celular, atuando posteriormente na transferência dessa tecnologia para o Centro de Estudos do Genoma Humano e Células-Tronco da USP e para o Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa do Hospital Albert Einstein.

Researcher at the Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa, Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein (IEP-HIAE), with extensive experience in: Human Genetics, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC), Neuroscience, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics analysis of exome and transcriptome data and gene editing (CRISPR). Professor of the stricto sensu Postgraduate Program in Health Sciences at the Faculdade Israelita de Ciências da Saúde Albert Einstein (FICSAE). Professor responsible for the discipline "Cells and Genes" of the Medical course at FICSAE. Coordinator and professor of the lato sensu postgraduate courses in Bioinformatics Applied to Medical Genomics and Frontiers of Neuroscience at HIAE. PhD in Genetics from the Biosciences Institute - USP, with a Bachelor's degree (2005) and Licentiate degree (2007) in Biological Sciences from the same institution. I have experience in the field of Human Genetics, working since 2004 on researches related to the Genetics of Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as on the genetic counseling of families who have autistic children. Since 2019, I have also been working on projects related to Gene Therapy. During my training, particularly during interships at the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and at the Institute for Stem Cell Therapy and Exploration of Monogenic Diseases (I-Stem) - France, I had the opportunity to become specialized in the cellular reprogramming technique, later transferring this technology to the Center for Human Genome and Stem Cell Research at USP and the Institute for Education and Research at Albert Einstein Hospital.
