Prof. PhD. Luís Cláudio Oliveira Lopes

Luis Cláudio Oliveira-Lopes graduated in Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University (2000). He is an associated professor in the School of Chemical Engineering at Federal University of Uberlândia. He has experience in Chemical Engineering, focusing on Industrial Processes and Chemical Engineering, acting on the following subjects: hybrid systems, predictive control, modeling and simulation, optimization and intensification of (bio)chemical processes, process safety, distributed control and fault detection and diagnosis.

Luís Cláudio Oliveira-Lopes concluiu o doutorado em Chemical Engineering - Lehigh University (USA) em 2000. Atualmente é professor associado da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia. Participa de projetos de pesquisa com ênfase em processos industriais da Engenharia Química. Em seu curriculo lattes os termos mais frequentes na contextualizacao da producao científica e tecnológica são: sistemas híbridos, controle preditivo, controle tolerante, modelagem e simulação, intensificação e otimização de processos, segurança industrial, controle distribuído e detecção e diagnóstico de falhas.
