Soahd Arruda Rached Farias

Possui graduação em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal da Paraíba (1988), graduação em Administração de Empresas pela Universidade Estadual da Paraíba (1993) , Especialização em Projetos de Irrigação e Drenagem (UFPB-1998) e Doutorado em Engenharia Agrícola pela Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (2006). É professora desde 2008 da Universidade Federal de Campina Grande-UFCG/UAEA na área de mecanização agrícola e meio ambiente, atualmente ministrando disciplinas de Mecanização agrícola, Barragens e obras hídricas e Saneamento Ambiental. Em atuação administrativa, já ocupou cargo de Coordenadora de Graduação de Engenharia Agrícola ( 2010-2014), Coordenadora de Pesquisa e Extensão (2018) e Coordenadora administrativa ( 2019-2021) . Participou da Câmara Superior de Ensino e do Colegiado Pleno, estando atualmente como membro docente CTRN na Câmara Superior de Ensino UFCG. Foi Engenheira Projetista na Empresa Irricamp- Irrigação Campina Grande Ltda (1988-1996), Sócia da Empresa PROCINE-Projetos e Consultoria de Irrigação do Nordeste Ltda, ( 1996-2000), além de outras atuações de consultoria como pessoa física após o ano de 2000.

She holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Paraíba (1988), a degree in Business Administration from the State University of Paraíba (1993) and a PhD in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (2006). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Campina Grande-UFCG / UAEAg in the area of agricultural mechanization and the environment, ministering disciplines of machinery, agricultural mechanization, dams and water works, Environmental Sanitation, Environmental Pollution and Environmental Management, as well as Management Integrated Hydrographic Basin in Agricultural Engineering. Volunteer member of the NGO Center for the Development and Promotion of Community Support. She was a graduate coordinator of the agricultural engineering course and currently coordinates research and extension of the agricultural engineering academic unit.
