Doutora em Direito pela PUC Minas com a tese "A aplicação do princípio da resiliência às relações entre Estado, Direito e Sociedade" (resultado de pesquisa desenvolvida entre 2006 e 2012). Mestre em Sociologia pela FAFICH/UFMG com pesquisa sobre as novas relações entre Estado e Sociedade Civil (2003-2005), o que originou a pesquisa da tese de doutorado. Professora do Mestrado em Relações Econômicas e Sociais da Faculdade Milton Campos. Professora da Faculdade de Políticas Públicas e Gestão de Negócios (FappGen) da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG). Pesquisadora e orientadora de iniciação científica com experiência em fomento CNPq e FAPEMIG nas áreas de Cidadania Digital, Direito Constitucional, Gestão Pública, Governança Democrática e Sociologia Jurídica.
