Guilherme Jorge Maeda

Atualmente é líder de grupo e pós-doutorando na Technical University Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) na Alemanha. Atua como pesquisador na área de robôs colaboradores e human-robot interaction no laboratório liderado por Jan Peters. Concluiu doutorado em robótica de campo (field robotics) pelo Australian Centre for Field Robotics (ACFR) na Universidade de Sydney em 2013 sob a supervisão de Hugh Durrant-Whyte, David Rye, Ian Manchester e Surya Singh.Possui mestrado em engenharia de controle de ultra-precisão pelo Tokyo Institute of Technology (TITECH) concluído em 2007. Obteve experiência profissional na área de Engenharia Mecatrônica no Japão na indústria de mecânica pesada, e no Brasil no projeto de equipamentos médicos.

Is currently a group leader and research scientist at the Technical University Darmstadt (TU Darmstadt) in Germany. He is a researcher in the area of collaborative robots and human-robot interaction at the IAS laboratory led by Prof. Jan Peters.He completed a PhD in field robotics at the Australian Center for Field Robotics (ACFR) at the University of Sydney in 2013 under the supervision of Professors Hugh Durrant-Whyte, David Rye, Ian Manchester and Surya Singh.He holds a master's degree in ultra-precision control engineering from the Tokyo Institute of Technology (TITECH) completed in 2007.He obtained his professional experience in the field of mechatronics in Japan in the heavy mechanics industry, and in Brazil with the design of medical equipment.
