Cristina Soares de Souza

Graduada em Ciências Biológicas com ênfase em Biotecnologia (Licenciada e Bacharel) pela Universidade Paranaense - UNIPAR (2006). Mestre em Genética e Melhoramento pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV (2008). Doutora em Genética e Melhoramento pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa - UFV (2012). Pós-doutorado Edital PNPD/CAPES pela Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária de Minas Gerais - EPAMIG/FECD (2014). Pós-Doutorado Edital CAPES/EMBRAPA pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia - UFU (2017). Atualmente é bolsista DCID-2, do Consórcio Café, na Empresa de Pesquisa Agropecuária de Minas Gerais - EPAMIG. Possui experiência na área de Genética e Melhoramento de Plantas, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: biotecnologia vegetal (marcadores moleculares e cultura de tecidos), fisiologia pós-colheita de hortaliças e melhoramento vegetal.

He has experience in the area of ​​Genetics and Plant Breeding, working mainly on the following topics: plant biotechnology (molecular markers and tissue culture), postharvest physiology of vegetables and plant breeding.
