Bruno Moreira Carneiro

Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2007), a Master's degree in Applied Immunology and Parasitology from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2009) and a PhD in Genetics from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2013). He did a "sandwich" PhD at the University of Leeds, UK (2012). He is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Rondonópolis. He has experience in the field of Virology, Molecular Biology, Genetics and Microbiology, working mainly on the following topics: hepatitis C virus (HCV), respiratory viruses (FLU / SARS / hMPV / RSV) and arboviruses (YFV / DENV / ZIKV).

Possui graduação em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2007), mestrado em Imunologia e Parasitologia Aplicadas pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2009) e doutorado em Genética pela Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (2013). Fez doutorado "sandwich" na University of Leeds, Reino Unido (2012). Atualmente é professor adjunto da Universidade Federal de Rondonópolis. Tem experiência na área de Virologia, Biologia molecular, Genética e Microbiologia, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: vírus da hepatite C (HCV), vírus respiratórios (FLU/SARS/hMPV/RSV) e arbovírus (YFV/DENV/ZIKV).
