Romildo de Castro Araújo

Doctor in Education from the Graduate Program of the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Master's degree in education from the Graduate Program at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI). Specialist in School Supervision and Management (FAP). Graduated in Pedagogy at UESPI and majoring in History at UNINTER. Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Piauí (UFPI), since 2014. He works in university teaching teaching primarily in the areas: Administration, Politics, Legislation, Financing and Education Economics, discussing issues of the relationship between work and education. He also teaches in the areas of History of Education, Education and Ethnic-Racial Relations. Develops research in the areas of Work and Education, Human Education in Basic Education, Racism and Education, Violence at School, Home Schooling, Education Financing. In the research in History and Memory of Education in Piauí, he addresses the following themes: Quilombola Education, a teaching profession in Basic Education, Teachers' Associations and Unionism. Possui graduação em Licenciatura Plena em Pedagogia pela Universidade Estadual do Piauí (1997), graduação em História pelo CENTRO UNIVERSITÁRIO INTERNACIONAL (2022), mestrado em Mestrado ( Conceito Capes 4) pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (2012) e doutorado em Educação pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (2019). Atualmente é professor assitente da Universidade Fedral do Piauí. Tem experiência na área de Educação, com ênfase em Educação, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: educação, educação infantil, escola, trabalho e família.
