.PhD in History of Iberian and American Societies from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (CNPq, 2011-2014), with a doctoral internship at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (PDSE/CAPES, 2012-2013). Post-doctorate in History developed at PUCRS (PNPD/CAPES, 2014-2015), where I also studied Masters in History (CAPES, 2007-2009). Degree in History from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2000-2006). Technician in Data Processing from the former Technical School of UFRGS, current IFRS (1996-1998).I have experience teaching History since 2008, having taught classes in all grades/years of elementary and high school, in public and private schools. I also worked in Youth and Adult Education, primary and secondary levels, and in popular and private pre-universitary courses. In higher education, I had experience with 'face-to-face' teaching of History in undergraduate and graduate courses lato and stricto sensu, having also worked with distance learning in undergraduate and graduate courses lato sensu. I was supervisor for supervised teaching internships, course conclusion works and scientific initiation in undergraduate and secondary education (high school). I had experience in evaluation boards at undergraduate, masters and doctoral levels, as well as selection processes for professors and secondary/high school completion work boards.I had experience with school management, having been deputy principal of a high school. I also had experience with university extension, including scientific dissemination actions and the organization of eleven academic events (one was an international congress and other an international seminar).I had been developing historical research since 2006, in the areas of the history of the Military Dictatorship in Brazil, didactics of history, studies of social control, history of higher education, technologies in education, Latin American and Iberian democracies and dictatorships in the 20th century.I am the author of "Os expurgos na UFRGS: afastamentos sumários de professores durante a Ditadura Militar" (Appris, 2023, in press).In partnership with colleagues from Brazil, Spain, England and Uruguay, I organized the books "Transições à democracia: Europa e América Latina no século XX" (EDIPUCRS, 2017), "Violência e sociedade em ditaduras ibero-americanas no século XX: Argentina, Brasil, Espanha e Portugal" (EDIPUCRS, 2015) e "História e ideologia: perspectivas e debates" (EDUPF, 2009).I had publications in scientific journals in Brazil, Chile and Spain. I published seven scientific articles, all in national or foreign journals A1 and A2 (Qualis), five reviews and nine book chapters.I work since 2012 as a reviewer for scientific journals in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador and Spain/Basque Country.I was part of several national and international research groups, including the leadership of an international group and the shared coordination of another. I was a collaborator of the former Cátedra Complutense Memoria Histórica del Siglo XX (2012-2013), as well as of the 'Ary Abreu Lima da Rosa Committee for Truth and Memory at UFRGS' (2013) and of the project 'Survey, availability and preservation of documentation related to the Military Dictatorship in UFRGS' (2007-2008). I am currently a researcher at the Grupo Internacional de Pesquisa IberoAmérica-20, of which I was a founding member, secretary in the 2013/2014 term and member of the coordinating committee in the 2014/2015 term.

Doutor em História pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul - PUCRS (CNPq, 2011-2014), com estágio doutoral na Universidad Complutense de Madrid - UCM (PDSE/CAPES, 2012-2013). Pós-doutorado em História realizado no PPGH/PUCRS (PNPD/CAPES, 2014-2015). Mestre em História pela PUCRS (CAPES, 2007-2009). Licenciado em História pela Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS (2000-2006). Técnico em Processamento de Dados pela antiga Escola Técnica da UFRGS, atual IFRS (1996-1998). Atua principalmente nas áreas de história social da educação, história da Ditadura Militar no Brasil, didática da história e tecnologias em educação. Experiência com ensino de História desde 2008, em todas as séries/anos dos ensinos fundamental e médio, em escolas públicas e particulares, Educação de Jovens e Adultos, cursos pré-vestibulares populares e privados, graduação e pós-graduação lato e stricto sensu. Orientou estágios docentes, trabalhos de conclusão de curso e de iniciação científica na graduação e no ensino médio. Participou de bancas de doutorado, mestrado, graduação, ensino médio e de processos seletivos docentes. Experiência como gestor escolar (vice-diretor de escola de ensino médio) e com extensão universitária (organizou 11 eventos acadêmicos, dentre eles 2 internacionais). Autor de "Os expurgos na UFRGS: afastamentos sumários de professores durante a Ditadura Militar" (Appris, 2023, no prelo). Com colegas do Brasil, Espanha, Inglaterra e Uruguai, organizou os livros "Transições à democracia: Europa e América Latina no século XX" (EDIPUCRS, 2017), "Violência e sociedade em ditaduras ibero-americanas no século XX: Argentina, Brasil, Espanha e Portugal" (EDIPUCRS, 2015) e "História e ideologia: perspectivas e debates" (EDUPF, 2009). Tem publicações em revistas científicas do Brasil, Chile e Espanha. Publicou 7 artigos científicos em revistas nacionais ou estrangeiras A1 e A2, junto a 5 resenhas e 9 capítulos de livros. Atua desde 2012 como revisor de periódicos científicos da Argentina, Brasil, Colômbia, Dinamarca, Equador e Espanha/País Vasco. Participou de grupos de pesquisa nacionais e internacionais. Colaborador da Cátedra Complutense Memoria Histórica del Siglo XX (2012-2013), do Comitê Ary Abreu Lima da Rosa Pela Verdade e Memória na UFRGS (2013) e do projeto "Levantamento, disponibilização e preservação da documentação relativa à Ditadura Militar na UFRGS" (2007-2008). Atualmente é pesquisador associado e um dos líderes do Grupo Internacional de Pesquisa IberoAmérica-20 (PUCRS/UCM). Coordena atualmente o projeto de pesquisa "Tornar-se professor/a de História em tempos difíceis: formação e práxis de jovens professorxs de História no Brasil pós-golpe de 2016" (2023-2025).
