Erasmo Mancusi graduated in Chemical Engineering cum laude in 1997 at the University Federico II of Naples defending a thesis entitled: ?Bifurcational analysis of NOx reduction on a Platinum network? (in Italian) and obtained his PhD from the same University in 2000 defending a thesis entitled: " Non linear analysis of a fixed bed reactor for the ammonia synthesis ". Since 2002 he is a tenured Researcher at the University of Sannio, Department of Engineering, where he teaches Transport Phenomena and Chemical Reactor Models. Mancusi research topics include methodological aspects of nonlinear dynamics, modelling, simulation and process control with application to chemical and energy engineering. Mancusi maintains active collaboration with colleagues in the Department of Chemical engineering, University Federico II of Naples, Italy, and in the Department of Chemical and Food Engineering, University of Salerno, Italy. He has participated, mostly with personal presentations, in several national and international conferences. He authored more than 80 papers published on international journals and proceedings of international conferences. From Dal 01/07/2010 until 01/07/2014 is Visiting Professor at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Florianopolis (SC) Brazil
