Lumena Souza Takahashi

Doctoral student of Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture of the University of São Paulo, with undergraduate studies in Veterinary Medicine and graduate studies in Sustainable Animal Production and Animal Nutrition in Ruminants. Have experience in animal science with an emphasis in animal feed assessment and nutritional strategies for sustainable production of ruminants and food security: in vivo and in vitro assays of digestibility to evaluate animal feeds; in vitro gas production to evaluate co-products, plants and feeds as modifiers of ruminal fermentation; in vivo quantification of enteric methane production (chambers and SF6 tracer) in studies of strategies to increase the sustainable and secure production of ruminants; and laboratory analysis of chemical composition of food for animals.
