Felipe Augusto Godoy

Graduado em Ciências Biológicas pela Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (UNIMEP), onde estudou os mecanismos bioquímicos e moleculares que ocorrem nas mitocôndrias das fibras estriadas esqueléticas durante a atrofia muscular. Mestre em Bioquímica pela Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto (USP), onde investigou a resposta da expressão da proteína SET, mediante estresse oxidativo, nos mecanismos moleculares mitocondriais de resistência à apoptose no câncer. Doutor em Tecnologia Nuclear/Bioquímica pelo Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (USP), onde investigou a interação funcional entre p53 e pol #947; no reparo por excisão de bases em mitocôndrias em células de mamíferos, mediante resposta a lesões no mtDNA, com colaboração do professor Vilhelm Bohr, do National Institute on Aging, USA. Realizou pós-doutorado no Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares (USP) na área de Bioquímica e Biotecnologia, buscando compreender o envolvimento dos processos redox no reparo do mtDNA nas patologias que acometem os mamíferos. Trabalhou como coordenador de curso e docente na Faculdade Tecnológica do Estado de São Paulo (FATEC Piracicaba), como docente na Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP-Campus Botucatu), além de outras Universidades. Em todas elas, lecionou Bioquímica e áreas correlatas para diversos cursos: Medicina, Enfermagem, Fisioterapia, Nutrição, Ciências Biológicas, Farmácia, Biomedicina, dentre outros. Atualmente, é docente na Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (UNIMEP) e na Faculdade de Tecnologia de Piracicaba (FATEP). É coordenador dos cursos de graduação de Biomedicina, Medicina Veterinária e Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba (UNIMEP). Tem experiência nas áreas de Bioquímica, Bioquímica Clínica, Biologia Celular, Biologia Molecular, Biotecnologia, Genética e Docência/Coordenação no Ensino Superior.

Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP), where he studied the biochemical and molecular mechanisms that occur in the mitochondria of skeletal striated fibers during muscle atrophy. Master's degree in Biochemistry from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto (USP), where he investigated the response of SET protein expression, through oxidative stress, in mitochondrial molecular mechanisms of resistance to apoptosis in head and neck cancer. PhD in Nuclear/Biochemistry Technology from the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (USP), where he investigated the functional interaction between p53 and pol #947; in the repair by excision of bases in mitochondria, in response to lesions in mtDNA, with the collaboration of Professor Vilhelm Bohr, of the National Institute on Aging, USA. Post-doctorate at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (USP) in the area of Biochemistry and Biotechnology, seeking to understand the involvement of the redox processes in mtDNA repair in pathologies. He worked as a course coordinator and professor at the Technological School of the State of São Paulo (FATEC Piracicaba), as a professor at the State University of São Paulo Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP-Campus Botucatu), at the Metodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP), and other universities. In all of them, he taught Biochemistry and related areas for several courses: Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Nutrition, Biological Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedicine, among others. Currently, he is a professor at the Metodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP) and the Faculty of Technology of Piracicaba (FATEP). He is coordinator of the undergraduate courses in Biomedicine, Veterinary Medicine and Biological Sciences of the Metodist University of Piracicaba (UNIMEP). He has experience in Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics and Teaching/Coordination in Higher Education.
