I hold a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, a Master's Degree in Chemistry and a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry of macromolecules from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, with a sandwich period at Technische Universitaet Muenchen - Germany. Postdoctoral degree completed at Technische Universitaet Muenchen - Germany and at the National Laboratory of Biosciences - CNPEM - Campinas - SP. He is currently a professor at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He has broad experience in Macromolecule Chemistry, Molecular and Structural Biology with emphasis on Nuclear Magnetic Resonance.
Possui Doutorado em Físico-Química de macromoléculas pela Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, com período sanduíche e pós-doutorado pela Technische Universitaet Muenchen. Tem experiência ampla em Química de Macromoléculas, nano-biotecnologia, Biologia Molecular e Estrutural. Atualmente é professor da Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), coordenador do laboratório de Química Biológica e Nano-biointerfaces do Departamento de Química Fundamental da UFPE.
