Graduated in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters Santo Tomás de Aquino (1971), Master's in Psychology (Social Psychology) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1990) and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of São Paulo (1999). He is a continuous-time professor at the University of Uberaba, in the Graduate Program in Education. Since 2017, she has also acted as coordinator of its master's and doctoral courses. Still at the institutional level, she is part of the Ethics Committee for Research with Human Beings and also acts as deputy coordinator. He is a member of the Institutional Committee of Ad hoc Evaluators of the Institutional Scientific Initiation Scholarship Program (PIBIC) and of the University Council of the same institution. He is the leader of the Study and Research Group on Teaching Work, Technologies and Subjectivity (GEPETTES) and of the Study and Research Group on Professional Development and Contemporary Teaching Work. Its studies and research have similarities and affinities with those developed by the Latin American Network of Studies on Teaching Work (REDESTRADO). He has experience in the field of Social Psychology and Sociology of Work, with an emphasis on Work, Technology and Subjectivity, working mainly in teaching and research on the following topics: education, teaching work, work, subjectivity and teachers; University education; work and health and disease process; research in education and epistemology and research in education.

Ainda em âmbito institucional, integra o Comitê de Ética em Pesquisa com seres Humanos e nele atua também como vice-coordenadora e é membro ad hoc do Comitê Institucional do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação Científica - PIBIC. Integrou o Conselho Universitário da UNIUBE no período de 2017-2021. É líder do Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas sobre Trabalho docente, Tecnologias e Subjetividade (GEPETTES).Tem experiência na área de Psicologia Social e Sociologia do Trabalho, com ênfase em Trabalho, Tecnologia e Subjetividade, atuando principalmente no ensino e na pesquisa sobre os seguintes temas: educação, trabalho docente, trabalho, subjetividade e professores; ensino superior; trabalho e processo saúde e doença; pesquisa em educação e epistemologia e pesquisa em educação.
