Mestre em Ciências: Antropologia Social pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP) (2001).Professora da Faculdade de Medicina FAMEB/UFBA (2011 - 2015) e na Universidade Estadual de Feira de Santana/UEFS (2013-2017). Trabalhou com a School For International Training (SIT) (2010-2017). Desenvolve estudos nos campos da Antropologia Médica, Antropologia Social, História Social, Medicina Preventiva e Social, Antropologia Biológica e Segurança Pública. Possui experiências com os temas: Gênero, Raça, Sexualidade, Identidades, Etnicidade, Câncer de Mama, Genética, Corpo, Saúde Pública, Saúde Coletiva, Segurança Pública, Paleantropologia, Antropologia da Religião.
Master of Science: Social Anthropology from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2001), Bachelor in Anthropology (1997) and sociology (1996) from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Teaches at the School of Medicine FAMEB / UFBA and the State University of Feira de Santana (UEFS). Composes, researcher in condition, the Municipal Technical Health of the Black Population Committee to support the advancement of equity in Attention to Health of the Black Population Salvador and other measures and the Affirmative Action Committee of UEFS.
